Yin Yoga is a style that has a slightly different physical focus than many of the other styles of practice. In yin we aim to release tension in the joints and connective tissues rather than placing our focus on activation in the muscles.
Most of the poses require little to no muscular engagement and we stay in poses much longer to allow the release in our connective tissue to happens slowly, but surely.
Restorative Yoga is a great compliment to the yin style as it aims to calm the nervous system more than anything else. This class becomes a peaceful midweek reset.
This class is a part of the Virtual Yoga Intro package and is available to ALL SUBSCRIBERS. After subscribing as a member Zoom link will be sent out each week for class.
